Terms of Service
These terms govern access to the Authentiq website and, where a separate order or agreement is in place, the Authentiq fraud-detection platform. Authentiq is in private beta; terms will firm up ahead of general availability.
Who these terms are for
Authentiq provides fraud-detection and identity-resolution services to businesses. These terms apply to your use of this website and, if you integrate Authentiq, to your use of the platform. If you use Authentiq on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
The service
Authentiq analyzes device, network, and behavioral signals to produce a trust verdict that helps customers decide whether to allow, review, or block activity. The verdict is probabilistic and advisory: the customer remains responsible for its own decisions and for compliance with the laws that apply to those decisions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service unlawfully, or to unlawfully discriminate against or profile individuals;
- probe, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law;
- send data you have no right to send, or use the service without the notices and lawful basis your own users require;
- resell or provide the service to third parties except as agreed in writing.
Beta status
During private beta the service is provided for evaluation, may change or be withdrawn, and may be unavailable or incomplete. Beta access does not guarantee general-availability pricing or features except where separately agreed.
Data protection
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice. Where Authentiq processes end-user data on your behalf, a data-processing agreement governs that processing and prevails over these terms for that data.
Intellectual property
Authentiq and its software, models, and content are owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as permitted by these terms or your order. You retain your own data.
Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and beta service are provided "as is" without warranties, and our liability is limited as set out in the agreement governing your use of the platform.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the platform evolves and will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
