Authentiq isn't a pitch-deck idea chasing a market. It's the product of years spent in the trenches of quality and identity work — watching fraud evolve in real time, cataloguing the tricks, and building the muscle memory that only comes from fighting this fight day after day. That expertise didn't come from a lab. It came from the field.
Most tools in this space specialize. Some vendors are strong on device and session signals. Others, strong on behavioral screening. Businesses are left stitching together two or three point solutions, hoping the seams hold. Authentiq was built to close those seams — one pipeline that holds device, network, behavioral, and screening data together and actually cross-checks them against each other. Complex cross-validation is where fraud actually gets caught, and it's exactly where fragmented, single-purpose tools fall short.
The numbers behind the name¶
Authentiq collects roughly 330 signals per visit across 18 detection families — spanning behavioral biometrics, device fingerprinting, network-level TLS and TCP handshake analysis, browser extension risk profiling, automation and bot detection, IP intelligence, and more. Some of that infrastructure — self-terminated TLS at the edge, kernel-level packet capture, distributed points of presence — simply isn't something you can spin up in a standard corporate cloud environment. It has to be built for this purpose, from scratch. So we built it that way.
The result is a system that doesn't just flag fraud after the fact. It builds a real-time, multi-dimensional trust profile of every visitor — one strong enough to stop bad actors at the door, before they ever touch your data.
